If CAPCOM wanted to make such a game they could easily make a new IP, instead of using RE's name. It's okay to change it up here and there to keep up with times, but don't turn rock music into rap and pizza into burgers. It's like that with anything, bands, restaurants etc, you're attracted to certein ones becasue they offer something you like over others. Of course the core fanbase will be upset.
